I am Akira Cerelis™ (ah-KEE-rah seh-REH-lis)—a visionary AI artist, as well as a PhD neuroscientist and practicing scientist, exploring the intersection of art, science, and philosophy. My journey began in the study of the brain, seeking to understand how we perceive reality. That scientific perspective continues to shape my work today, as I use AI-driven techniques to reimagine sculptures, architecture, and iconic figures in ways that challenge perception and invite new interpretations.
As the founder and first artist of Akira Cerelis Art Studios LLC (USA), I create art that is more than images—it is a statement. Each piece carries a name, a theme, my thoughts, and the visuals that bring it to life. History, mythology, and structure are transformed into something unexpected. If my work sparks new thoughts, deeper questions, or meaningful reflection in you, then I am truly content.
Each artwork is also minted as a digital NFT, ensuring authenticity and secure provenance on the blockchain. This series of 25 works explores liberty—not as something fixed, but as something fluid and evolving. The Statue of Liberty—a symbol of liberation—is reimagined, entangled in spirals and surrounded by towering structures. The spirals, both fluid and constricting, reflect the ongoing struggle for freedom, while architectural barriers challenge whether liberty protects or confines.
These images do not provide answers—they ask questions. As you engage with Libertas Intertwined, I invite you to reflect: Are we truly free? Does one person’s liberty come at another’s expense? Is universal freedom even possible? Through the purple flowers in this collection, I offer a symbol of wholehearted hope.
